Area where a particular organism lives naturally and which provides the organisms with food, shelter and favorable climatic conditions, so that it can easily survive, breed and flourish is called a habitat.

➤ In North America, the grasslands are called prairies
➤ Rainy season as well as a season of drought every year
➤ Large herds of grazing mammals such as deer, giraffe, elephants, lions, tigers, hyenas, zebras, bison & ostrich found here
3) Desert Habitats :
➤ Extreme heat and dryness
➤ Very little or no rainfall
➤ Days are very hot, while the nights are very cold
