The adjustment or changes in the behavior, physiology and structure of an organism to suit the environment of a place is known as adaptation.

👉 Tropical Rainforest :

Tropical rainforest are dense, warm and wet.
Different layers of the forest :

1) Emergent - Topmost layer consists of tall trees. Animals such as eagle, monkey, bat and some insects found in this layer.

2) Canopy - A dense layer of trees growing in less space. About 70-90% of life in the rainforest exists in this layer. Animals such as sloth, snake, lizard, insect and bird are found in this layer.

3) Understory - It receives only 2- 15% of the sunlight that falls on the canopy. It contains plant that can tolerate low light. Animals such as jaguars, frogs and leopards are found in this layer.

4) Forest floor - Almost no vegetation in this layer. Animals such as anteaters, snakes, mice and insects are found this layer.
